The Wood-Alu range of windows are made of a solid wood from the interior side with additional protection of aluminuim cladding on the exterior side of the products. Such a combination of wood and aluminium guarantees low maintenance costs, energy saving and high resistance to adverse weather conditions.
What is more, the aluminium cladding is finished with a modern desing that not only insreases the performance of windows and doors but also maintains elegance that are associated with wood craftsmanship.
Ways to open windows:
when the wing tilts to the side, we have opening: side hung, side swing 90, side swing 180 (fully reversibe)
when the wing tilts up (as in the roof window) we have the opening: top hung, top swing, top swing 180 (fully reversibe)
Opening a swing (side swing, top swing) is also called ‘easy clean’ because it allows you to wash the outside of the window while standing inside the room..

The material for the production of windows we use hardwood (oak, mernti) or nordwood (solid pine, combined pine). Three-layer glued scantlings on the wing and four-layer glued on the frame. More information about wood can be found in the material tab.

The color inside and outside can be different and does not affect the price of joinery.
The external part, aluminum, is painted with powder paints. The color is determined according to RAL. Paints for wood-like colors are also available.
The internal part, wooden, is painted with water base, ecological, transparent or opaque Teknos varnishes. As standard, the inside and outside color are identical. We paint with coating paints and on the so-called stains, or paints that make the wood structure visible. The basic covering colors are white (according to RAL 9016) or brown (RAL 8017). Others are available for a small additional fee. We do not use surcharges for orders for a larger amount. The covering color should be determined according to the RAL or NCS template. In special cases, the colors are selected individually.
We present the stain colors below, but the actual coloration may differ from that of the monitor. Stain colors are divided into price groups and are presented below; on every type of wood, the same stain color is slightly different. It is possible to paint in a way that a different color is inside and a different one outside. This method of painting is called bicolor. It is required to specify which color to be on each side.
